what a day!

Today it was mainly dark outside and rainy. Maybe the weather was reflecting my mood of how I felt about having to do homework all day, and it was literally all day! I spent 7 hours on homework! I had no idea it would take me that long but my marketing homework was harder than expected. I did however finally catch a picture to show people what a goofball my Rilo (my 11 yr old dachshund) is. He hates to come inside when I let him out in the morning because he thinks he will be going into his kennel. So he just lays outside in the grass, until I either get him or he gives up and comes in.

I basically spent from 2-9pm working on homework with random breaks here and there to eat, do laundry, do my hair, or clean. Speaking of my hair, I went crazy. For the first time in 26 yrs, I'm not a redhead. My bangs have red in them but the rest is blonde! I also went really really short. It is an asymmetrical hair cut and this picture shows off the short side. It is all a little bit of a shock, but I love it. I find myself glancing in the mirror and thinking I have a hat on, only to remember I have blonde hair. Today I just made it a little more blonde, it has been quite the process.

I'm going to bed soon. The hours of homework wore me out. But I did get to stay home all day and hang out in my pj's, which made me happy.
