snowfall, a gentleman, and dog treats.

November 2 was a random day:

We had our first snowfall! It only lasted a couple hours, and melted quickly but it was so beautiful. Huge, puffy snowflakes. I wanted to just stay curled up on my couch and watch the snow come down but I had to go to work!

Speaking of work, I had a very nice man, roughly in his 60s, come and get a haircut. He started talking about his back and his severe back problems, and I told him I somewhat knew what her was dealing with. He asked about my issues, so I told him how I've had the pain since 2007, it's gotten worse. I went on to tell him that I went to the doctors a few months ago and I told the doctors that they weren't going to tell me I was just fat and needed to lose weight, that I knew it was something more. We talked some more, he was a very humble man. After he paid he told me the sweetest thing, "Don't ever let anyone tell you that you're fat because you aren't." What a gentleman!! It made my whole entire day!

After work I was in the baking mood but since I've eaten enough pumpkin pie to hold me off for a week (i love me some pumpkin pie), I decided to get creative. I am low on dog treats and quite frankly low on money, so I created some yummy (haven't tried them but the dogs love them) Apple Cinnamon Dog Treat Drops. They smell delicious, and the boys sure are happy. Click here for the recipe!

Good night everyone! Tomorrow is a new day... Make it count!!
